Ingredients
You can use store bought tostada shells or make your own by frying in some oil. Picture shells were made by frying corn tortillas in oil.
Store bought pinto beans work fine, or you can make your own. Beans usually take a few hours to cook on stove top.
Putting together your tostada is easy. Layer the beans, then cabbage, onion, tomato, avocado and cheese. Add hot sauce if you like it. There really isn't any measurements for these, you can decide how much toppings you like. I did though use half a serving size of the Follow Your Heart feta cheese crumbles. I choose that cheese because it is a close comparison as far as texture to the Mexican cheese I used when I ate dairy.
This is an easy and filling meal, enjoy!
